Last night I had dinner at McCormick & Schmick’s for the 1st time and it blew me away. It was an outstanding experience overall. I phrase it that because it wasn’t just the food that was so amazing. My friend and I kept commenting to each other how superb every aspect of our time there was. The restaurant is beautiful, dimly lit, with open floor seating as well as booths that feel very private. Makes for lovely ambiance.

The service was impeccable. Our server Mike was perfection. Warm, friendly, attentive & very knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was excellent and beautifully presented.

It’s currently Restaurant Week (through tomorrow), so we ordered off the Restaurant Week menu. They’re currently offering 3 courses for $35, which is an excellent incentive to get in there and try them out if you haven’t.

However if you don’t get to make it down there this weekend, you can use the coupon I’ve included at the top, for a free appetizer. It’s good for the rest of the year. Just show the coupon (on phone is fine) and say my blog name: Meg Here And There.

If you’d like a recommendation for your appetizer, go for the mac & cheese pie, (scroll to see pic below). It was delicious. Although it looks heavy, it's not, it's just delicious, additionally, it is unique to this location. Yey Raleigh! Apparently one of the managers created this recipe some time ago. It was then submitted to the corporate office for consideration, and they liked it so much that it's now a regular item on the menu.
